The new series, “Dexter: New Blood,” is a mystery crime drama miniseries. It was released on 7th November 2021 on Showtime. The series is created as a continuation of Dexter’s original series for the Showtime network, developed by the original showrunner Clyde Phillips and directed by Marcos Siega. The show features Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter reprising their characters as Dexter and Debra Morgan, respectively. The story is set a decade after the events in the final episode of the series that ran in 2013 named “Remember the Monsters?” The story is about Dexter Morgan, who, after faking his death ten years ago in a hurricane, is now settled with a new identity under the name of Jim Lindsay in the fictional Town of Iron Lake, New York. He works as a clerk in a local wilderness sporting gear store. His estranged son from his previous life is also here now. A series of incidents around Iron Lake causes Dexter to fear the “dark Passenger” within him and potentially within his son might reveal himself.
